Master course
The partner institutions have
developed a European MSc. Degree in Food Science,Technology and
Nutrition. The degree will be offered in each of the partner
countries.
The programme will be
organised in a modular format and canditates will be required to
undertake six compulsory
core modules and to select four modules from the
optional modules listing.
The ten modules will be
followed by a semester of a
Professional
Competence module organised by
partner institution(s) or the associated member in cooperation with companies and/or research
laboratories.
Additionally,
the programme will require the students to work on a
scientific project in one of the partner institutions or the
associated member or in an
approved workplace and to submit a thesis.
The award of the European MSc.
degree will be based on the successful completion of the ten modules
(60 ECTS credits), the professional competence module (30 ECTS
credits), and the project (30 ECTS credits).
Apart from
the complete Master course, stand alone modules are also offered to
persons (without an Erasmus Mundus grant) who wish to gain new
insights and knowledge in the particular field. On successful
completion of each module selected ECTS credits will be awarded.
