European MSc Degree in
Food Science, Technology and Nutrition

ATTENTION: The 2011 course of SEFOTECH.NUT selected in the framework of ERASMUS MUNDUS II starts with compulsory modules in Dublin Institute of Technology and KaHo Sint-Lieven, followed by optional modules, professional competence module and Master thesis work offered by the four European consortium partners. Additionally part of the course can be completed in one of the five associated non-European member institutions.


All applicants have to pay an enrolment fee.

From September 2006 on, the SEFOTECH NUT Master course received Erasmus Mundus grants from the European Commission for a period of 4 years. The acceptance of the course under Erasmus Mundus II framework resulted in further grant awarding from September 2010 for 5 consecutive course editions.

There are foreseen student grants and scholar grants (for tutors, researchers). 

Up to now we have received 22 student and 3 scholar grants for 2006, 26 student and 3 scholar grants for 2007 , 20 student and 4 scholar grants for 2008 and 18 student and 4 scholar grants in 2009 under Erasmus Mundus I framework.

Under Erasmus Mundus II framework in 2010 there were 9 category A grants for third-country students, 2 category A grants under Western Balkan and Turkey Window, 7 category B grants for EU students, 4 scholar grants for Third-Country nationals and 2 scholar grants for EU nationals.


This European MSc. degree programme has been selected under the Erasmus Mundus II framework for five consecutive course editions for the period 2010-2014 (agreement no. 2010-0115).
